Graham Rotary Club was organized on February 17, 1940. It was
admitted into Rotary International and received its charter on
March 4, 1940, being sponsored by the Reidsville Rotary Club,
North Carolina, Charter No. 5191

The
Graham Rotary Club meets at the Graham Civic Center, 503
McGee Street.
The club meets each Thursday at Noon. The Graham Rotary Club
is the originating organization of the Graham Civic Center. It
was built in 1954 on land donated by Dr. Joseph L. Johnson on
March 4, 1954. The architect was R.R. Markley, Inc. and the builder
was Paul Thompson. In 2006, the Graham Rotary Club gave the land
and building to the City of Graham. In 2008, the city renovated
the facilities with a grant from the State of North Carolina.
